Humble Bundle is one of our favorite ways to donate to a great cause while also getting awesome stuff in return, and a brand-spanking-new group of games is up grabs this morning as part of Humble Bundle for Android 4.

These are all new titles for Android (except the bonus title, Machinarium, a game you should want regardless), which makes this an especially awesome time to chip in to some causes most techy-savvy folks can get behind. Here's the list of titles:

  • Splice
  • Eufloria
  • Waking Mars
  • Crayon Physics Deluxe
  • Superbrothers: Sword & Sourcery EP

Here are some screenshots from the aforementioned titles, which you can find convenient summaries of on the Humble Bundle blog.

You can choose to donate any amount you want, though you'll have pay above the average amount donated in order to get Machinarium. Honestly, given how much awesome stuff you're getting, it shouldn't be too hard to justify paying above that average, either, which as of this writing is a little above $5. Let's see if we can raise that a little higher. The promotion will be going on for the next two weeks (meaning it ends November 22nd), so head on over and check it out.

I love these bundles. I'm glad to finally see Sword & Sworcery on Android. The soundtrack for that game alone is worth buying.

Gah... I *so* want these games! ... But I want them linked to my Google Play account too!!!

Damn! Need more time to think...

if you haven't yet, download the humble bundle app from your HB account page. yes, it's not the same as the play store, but it's still a centralized place to donwload and get updates.

I know I should consider that a good option, but ever since I dropped the Amazon Appstore, I just don't want to install alternate "stores". It's not that I think they'll take the money and run or that updates won't be distributed, it's just that it is so much of a hassle to repeatedly set up an additional installer with login info every time I flash a rom.

I really wish Google would just add support to the store that would make it practical to run this kind of promotion through there.

        • defred34

No, its a simple app really. Just go download the HB app already...

          • TinmanTinman

Can you post a link to the app? I am not sure i am looking at the right app in the playstore. Is it a official app from the Humble bundle company?

          • tym

You need to download it from the humble bundle website.

    Love me some Humble Bundle!

  • Sorian

Nice, and a good group of new to android games.

The Galaxy S3 is on the list of unsupported devices for most of the games in this bundle. Bummer!

    • Guest

Yet every single one of them works on my s3. International version of course. If you have the same device download the bundle. Works fine.

      • sixty-four

I've got Verizon's S3. An issue with Snapdragon vs Exynos? I will likely end up getting the bundle for PC so if they work on my phone, it'll be a bonus.

        • sixty-four

Oh hold on - the compatibility lists just got updated and the S3 is on the "compatible" column now. Cool deal.

These bundles always add more content towards the last couple days for people that beat average payments. I recommend waiting to see what else they add before buying.

    • Adrian Quartx

u are wrong, people who pay more then 1$ bur still under the average Do get the bta games released later

    • atlouiedog

Bonuses are added for all who bought the bundle BEFORE the bonus is added and for anyone who beats the average AFTER. Anyone who buys now should get all bonuses.

It's also possible to increase your purchase later. If you only want to pay $3 now but later decide that you want Machinarium, you can pay the difference between $3 and the average that the time that you bought it. So, if the average is $6 and you pay $3 you only have to pay another $3.01 to beat the average, even if it's $8 when you decide to do so. You can increase your purchase up to 30 days after the bundle ends.

Unless you already have every game on this list (which is doubtful since many are debuting on Android in it) or have no interest in playing them, there is no good reason not to buy in now.

An incredible deal, thank you Humble Bundle!

  • raindog469

I've bought each Humble Bundle as soon as I heard about it, and this was no exception. I had a knockoff of Crayon Physics on the Nintendo DS years ago (thanks to flash carts) and I'm looking forward to trying the real thing on my tablet. (I have it for Linux too from a previous bundle, but it's not that great with a mouse.) Machinarium and Eufloria are each worth the price of admission to me too.

I spend more on the Android Bundles than I would if I bought the games separately -- in fact, I've spent more than twice as much on the four Bundles as I have on all my other Android app purchases altogether -- but this way I get the APKs legitimately, without having to rip them out of my devices, and I'm giving to the EFF and Child's Play too. Until they find a way to wreck it, this is a concept that needs supporting.

  • jeffrey evans

Machinarium is outstanding, well worth the download.

  • Zsolt

Won't download games stuck on 0%.
