Over on the iOS side of things, W.E.L.D.E.R. has made quite a name for itself with unique word-based gameplay and a real sense of humor. Now you too can get in on the fun with W.E.L.D.E.R. on your Android device of choice. Make sure you check out the video below so you know what you're getting into. This is serious business.

W.E.L.D.E.R. is a bit like a combination of Boggle, Scrabble, and Bejeweled. You have to create word combinations with various tile types to get the most points. The better you play, the more special abilities you get access to. It's not just about mindless fun, though. By playing W.E.L.D.E.R. you can uncover new words and definitions that you never knew about.

W.E.L.D.E.R. will run you $2.99 in Google Play, but there are also optional in-app purchases. If the early reviews are anything to go by, you might actually be tempted to drop some cash on this title.

I don't care how good the game is, I could not look at that hideous design for more than a second.

No one cares about the Amazon appstore.

Thanks for saving me $2! Now I just have to confirm that the version isn't lagging behind as it usually does for Amazon app store.

And: Of course Amazon's version is 1.01 while Google play shows 1.02. Oh well....
