The Netflix for Android app received a minor update today, adding compatibility for four new countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The update also adds improved subtitles for Android 4.0+ devices, which is cool, I guess.

Yeah, those subtitles are noticeably improved.

But most importantly, I've noticed on two of the three devices I've updated, the app doesn't run at the god-awful pace it has since it was released. Scrolling on a Galaxy S III, Optimus G, and Nexus 7 is vastly improved, and much smoother. Previously, I could barely even use the app because the scroll lag was so bad. Nice of them to not mention that in the changelog. However, there was a Sony phone I tested it on that didn't improve, though, so this fix is apparently not universally effective.

Head over to Play Store to grab the update now.

...I'll never look at Altoids the same way again.

Excellent choice of a movie still. There could not have been a more perfect one.

But that's Zach Galifianakis. How do we know he didn't really say that?

      He did say it.

IIRC, the subtitles used to be in all caps, so at least they now support lower case....?

No shit! It still has the iPhone UI we all love! With low resolution buttons and a integrated web browser!

I love Netflix for not following Holo guidelines and not making native apps!

Even better, I pay for this shit!
