If you do a lot of text entry on your tablet or smartphone, then you know what a cumbersome process it is. Pounding out a 200 word email on that touchscreen isn't the only option, though - you need to get yourself a Bluetooth keyboard.

There's no time like the present to make that happen, either - NewEgg has Motorola's official Bluetooth keyboard for Android on sale for a mere $23 until October 10th. That's a solid deal, as it retails for $70.

To snag the deal, you need only head over to NewEgg, toss the keyboard in your cart, and use promo code EMCJNNA232 to knock the price all the way down. Done.

The only thing worth noting here is the text at the bottom:

A code you entered is exclusive to newsletter subscribers. By checking this box you consent to receive additional deals and promotions through our free e-mail newsletter.

That basically means you'll be subscribing to NewEgg's newsletter if you take advantage of this deal. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to consider nonetheless.

Update: Looks like Amazon has the same deal, sans-promo code. You'll have to fork over shipping costs, of course - unless you order something else that qualifies for Super Saver shipping or have a Prime account.

This really is a killer deal... Especially when I bought it for this price regularly on Amazon a month ago...

I've been using this for quite a while with no complaints, except it's pretty expensive at full retail price.

What would be really cool is if they discounted the 89507N which is basically this one with a slide out trackpad.

That's the one I have. To be honest, Idk if the trackpad is worth it if you're going to be sitting in front of your tablet/phone anyway. It's a lot quicker to use the touchscreen, and some things aren't really setup for use with a mouse. Now, if you're sitting on the couch with your device plugged into the TV or something, then that changes things.

FWIW, Woot has had it for $35 shipped a couple times recently

Does anybody know if this ships to Europe - Poland?

  • Leonel Macias

It looks like this bad boy is compatible with most any Android phone right? Just making sure it'll work on my SIII

I have the one with the trackpad, and it works excellently on the GS3

Still won't buy motorola products again, ever. You should do the same.

    • MicroNix

Don't worry, normally there isn't code to keep updated in BT keyboards :)

      • mgamerz

Still don't support motorola. Gives them money to rely on when you burn you as a customer down the road.

    'merica only. Deal breaker. >.>

Newegg code is now expired. Still only $30, but Amazon may be cheaper depending on your shipping situation.
