There have been rumors over the last few weeks that Google and Asus are planning to release a new version of the Nexus 7 with 32GB of storage. We previously saw a screenshot from a Carphone Warehouse inventory computer that included this device. Now we've found not one, not two, but three more online listings for the 32GB Nexus 7. This is looking like a lock, folks.

All three listings have the same part number and two of them have a matching UPC included. None of them have an image, but we all know what a Nexus 7 looks like -- just imagine it with more storage inside. One page doesn't list a price, but the others are showing $269 and $272.18. We don't know when this device might be announced, but one listing contains the unlikely claim that it ships in 1-2 weeks. The mystery listings also call out Bluetooth 2.1 instead of 3.0. I'm not sure what that means, but it could just be a placeholder description.

For many users, a 16GB tablet just doesn't cut it. While music and video is increasingly living in the cloud, there are times you need to load up your Wi-Fi tablet with content. Then we have games, which are getting absolutely massive. The Bard's Tale clocked in at a whopping 3.5GB. I'll probably continue to slum it with my 16GB N7, but plenty of people will jump at a 32GB model if it's real.

I'm in the same boat with a 16GB, but I'm chalking it up to one of the perils of being an early adopter. I'm not going to the this 32GB version. I'm saving for the (one of?) the next Nexus phone(s).

Luckily, I just returned my 16Gb Nex7 to the store with 1 day left on my refund window! Screen lift didn't bother me at first, but then I stated noticing light leaking in the bottom corner, so back it went. Now I just need to hold out for a few weeks and not spend that refund!

I'm the one person happy with their 8GB model.

According to Android Headlines (see below) the 3G version is rumored for an October launch... If these are one and the same - a 32GB 3G enabled tablet.... Then I may just have to pawn off my beloved 16GB N7 for one of these,,,, Especially if I can get it on Verizon. Of course it'd probably force me to switch to a shared data plan & kill off my unlimited data....

  • Matt

if you know what youre doing you dont need over 16gb. i have the 8gb. Nice to see that Google wants to offer more options though :)

Reasonable price difference. Wish there was a trade-up plan. I made a big mistake getting the 8.

Seriously... I just got my 16gb a week ago. FFFUUU*********

It would be better if Asus made a 3g version because for me tablet without 3g is 50% usable.

I'm glad that I held out for a 32GB. I figured' they'd offer one eventually.

Hopefully we'll see this soon. I've been drooling over my friend's 16GB N7 for a couple months now.
