Bringing a new entry to the successful NBA 2KX franchise, 2K Games recently released NBA 2K13 to Google's Play Store. Like its predecessors, NBA 2K13 is built on the NBA 2K engine, with improved graphics and a new one-finger control option to give players "the ultimate NBA experience while on the go."

Besides the option to use 2K13's new one-finger control system, players can revel in some nostalgia while reliving some of the best performances "in NBA history, including Kobe Bryant's 81-point performance in 2006."

Players can also play through multiple NBA seasons with the same team in order to establish them as "a new dynasty," while enjoying a television-style presentation including full commentary. Of course, as with any yearly iteration, the game features updated rosters reflecting all of the 2011-2012 season's transactions. Oh, and by the way, the game's entire soundtrack is "personally curated" by Jay Z.

It carries a steep $7.99 price tag and a heavy 632MB download, but fans may find the gameplay, new graphics and controls, and updated rosters worth it. Hit the widget below to grab the download.

Looks like it isn't compatible with the SGS3. And from the screens, it looks like its tablet specific, which will suck if it is.

On the 2K mobile site, all the apps are for iPad only, so I guess that's all the focus on, although it says my galaxy nexus is able to install it so idk.

Wow never thought I'd see a 2K game on android. I bought it on ps3 this week and can't stop playing. Thought to myself do I really want this on my tablet?? Yes, yes I would and I would love to see more and more console games come to android so I will definitely be supporting this day 1.
