Three short days ago, we heard that Verizon could be launching the behemoth LG Intuition - America's version of the Optimus Vu - beginning on September 6th. Looks like that leaks was pretty much dead-on, as Big Red just officially took what wraps were left off of this oversized monstrosity.

Available online from September 6th and in-stores on the 10th, the LG Intuition packs a massive 5" 4:3 display, 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear shooter, 1.3MP front camera, and Android 4.0.

Trying to take a page from the Samsung Galaxy Note, the device will also ship with a "pen" of sorts, called the Rubberdium pen, which is basically just a standard stylus and doesn't feature any sort of enhanced functionality like Samsung's S Pen.

The Intuition will sell for $199 with a two-year agreement.

    4:3? Really?

  • Clint Pedersen

    4:3? Interesting...

  • SetiroN

4:3 on a phone/tablet makes a lot of sense. The Note already is ridiculously large to make you look like an idiot, the LG's extra width won't make any difference there but it will improve your browsing experience by a fair bit.

nothing to see here ... Note II please

The new iPhone 5 is going to be about a half inch longer. "Monstrous" seems to be the trend.

    • Freak4Dell

Half an inch longer than the current iPhone isn't bad at all. It will still be a pretty decent size, which is more than we can say about 90% of the Android phones that come out these days.

I guess that it must not have any storage memory or a slot for a card. No one has mentioned it.
