After ASUS' US-bound Transformer Pad 300 (TF300) got its taste of Jelly Bean OTA goodness – and subsequent full-fledged firmware download – owners of the tablet's international (or WW) variant were stuck furiously pressing "software update" in hopes of getting their own OTA. Well, it looks like ASUS has made dreams come true, at least across Europe. Just earlier today, ASUS UK officially put users on the lookout via Twitter:

Following that tweet, users have confirmed the OTA rolling in in countries including (but not limited to) Germany, Slovakia, Spain, the UK (of course), Greece, Portugal, and Northern Ireland.

If you're in Europe using the TF300's WW variant and want to get your hands on Jelly Bean, you know the drill - hit Settings > System Firmware Update > Check Update.

With the release of the WW version's Jelly Bean OTA, it shouldn't be too long before we see the firmware available for download (if ASUS' timeline with the US version serves as any guide). Of course, we'll keep you updated pending further information. In the meantime, follow the discussion at the XDA link below.

Ondrej, I have the US model Asus Transformer Pad TF300 and want to send it to my mom in Ostrava. Do you know if she will be able to use it due to the different voltage? what other info do I need to know?

I am mad that they didn't send out the update for the TF201 first. What is up with that.

Downloaded yesterday in NZ for the WW version. MKV no longer play properly using built in players including Mynet oover DLNA. MX Player will work if I select software acceleration.
