Intrigue. Mysterious disappearances. Giant phones. These can all be used to describe the recent events surrounding T-Mobile's Galaxy Note. We're not entirely sure what's going on around Team Magenta's camp, but the Note is gone. Don't believe me? Go look. I'll wait.

Didn't find it, did you? Nope. But wait - the plot thickens. Wirefly also has the device listed as "not available," and Costco, which uses Wirefly on the backend, has the device on closeout. Not only that, but sites like Amazon and Let's Talk have the device listed as backordered; the latter even lists the shipping availability as "unknown."

Wow.

We've reached out to Wirefly and T-Mobile to get an official work on the matter and will update when/if we hear something back.

In the meantime, feel free to share you conspiracy theories and/or rage in the comments. (Who am I kidding - you were going to do that anyway, weren't you?)

well, perhaps some flaw was found, and no more will be made until it is redesigned?

its because they're gonna introduce a new note.

  • Conspirator

    A. Galaxy Note is just too big for the shelf space

    B. Apple sues T-Mobile because Galaxy Note is a copy of tiny-iPad

    C. T-mobile realizes how silly they are for releasing the Galaxy Note 1 at the same time that Galaxy Note 2 are coming out.

    • ProductFRED

A and B are funny, but C is unrealistic given that if they were up for sale, they've already been manufactured by Samsung. You can't just cancel an order to a manufacturer on a whim.

  • Gabriela

Maybe it wasn't selling well because it's gimoungous!

Because Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be out soon. Probably end of Aug

T-Mobile was stupid on releasing the Note, when Samsung is going to announce the Note 2.

  • http://twitter.com/LuvGermanCars Luv German Cars

Maybe T-Mobile just ordered enough units to be able to tell customers, "Hey, at least we bought you the Samsung Note!" and now they are "sold out" due to the the intentionally small inventory. Just a possibility as they knew the Note II was on the horizon.

    My take on the conspiracy:

    Apple was rocking Samsung's boat.
So the head designer left and forgot his coat.
Inside it they found a Galaxy note.
On the screen It read "Apple gets my vote".
The CEO yelled "why that filthy goat!".
He got on his SIII and and e-mail he wrote.
"Mr. Head Designer why you gloat?"
I will punish you with an antidote.
And guess what it is? No more Galaxy Note.
...and that's my take but please don't quote.

      Brilliant!

Don't worry the Galaxy Note 2 will be announced August 29th and will headed to Tmobile before October 15th

    • squiddy20

And you were the moron who "knew" the Note and the Note 2 would be coming to T-Mobile. How wrong you were, as usual.

  • scuttlefield

Here is the hopeful (yet, insane) idea for T-Mo: They are actually going to stock the Note 2 in place of the Note. ...I know...CRAZY!

  • jimmy king

I went to the to mobile store to pay my girlfriends bill and the note they had on display and signs where gone and it was just there last two weeks when it came out
