If you've been patiently waiting for the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 to make its way back into the Play Store, the wait is now over. The tablet dropped its "coming soon" status for "in stock" just a bit ago, and Google has already started sending out emails to users who signed up for updates on the device's status.

Still, if you don't want to wait for shipping, you may be better off hitting up the local Staples or Office Depot - we're still hearing word that many stores still have a stock of N7s to share with the world.

Otherwise, if you simply must have it directly from Google, hit the link below to buy.

To those of you who have the device and have had to exchange it because of the screen lift issue, how hard was the return process through Google?

Part of me wants to wait until Best Buy starts carrying them, because I am very confident with their exchange process (and like their black tie protection for a device at this price point).

i bought mine as best buy for the exact same reason...easy return, mine had the loose screen. took it back to best buy and did a return since they didnt have any in stock, will just wait until they get more in
dont bother getting the extend warranty, if your Nexus 7 has issues, you will notice it within the first minute you have the device, and they have a great 14 day return policy at best buy, no need for the $80 2 year warranty

I just filled out the form to start the RMA process about 5 hours ago. It's pretty simple so far, but they haven't contacted me yet, so I can't make much comment beyond that. I have read other people's comments about it going really smoothly.

I saw that one guy has already received his new one, but that one also had a problem, and he's already returned it. Based on that story, I get the impression that Google is at least working pretty fast to get these things taken care of.
