Google is in the process of rolling out a Play Store update v3.7.15 which follows 3.7.11 and 3.7.13 from early July. The latest version doesn't bring any new features as far as I can tell, so we can only assume it contains under-the-hood improvements and/or bug fixes.

One such bug fix resolves the problem with Sprint devices that were previously getting stuck downloading applications on 4G and displayed a "waiting for network" message.

If you haven't gotten the 3.7.15 Play Store update automatically yet, you can find a number of download mirrors below. Just push the apk to your device and install it the same way you would sideload any other app. The file is signed by Google and was verified as legitimate (in fact, I pulled it off my phone a few minutes ago).

The APK is signed by Google and upgrades your existing Play Store. The cryptographic signature guarantees that the file is safe to install and was not tampered with in any way. Rather than wait for Google to push this download to your devices, which can take weeks, download and install it just like any other APK and enjoy the new Play Store experience.

Thanks, @_ERib!

You can't update frozen/disabled apps anymore, they show up as "Disabled" and your two options are "Enable" and "Uninstall"

    • Chris

it was that way with the last update... nothing new here

        It was not, no.

        • Chris

Yeah but was. I remember seeing it and pointing it out. Maybe you had the update before that but it was in last month's update that added tv shows

Nah, I definitely had it. You could still update them. The enable button was over the uninstall button rather than over the update button.

I think the ability to sort comments by "highest first" is new. Atleast I haven't noticed it before

    • Chris

it was there in the last update

      • MyNameIsLOS

Seeing how I use the Share feature regularly, I've noticed Share remembers your last share-to. I send apps (movies, books, et al) I want to remember to Evernote, with the newest Play Store apk the Evernote icon is right next to the Share icon. Now I can share with one tap.

Could be an older feature, but I just noticed today.

Yeah, that's not new, I mentioned this in the post for .13. Nice feature.

    • Chris

been that way since the last major update

  • Schneebly

Weird, before I updated i had 3.7.13, nothing changed. What's up with that?

    • Schneebly

      with the store's "UI", "homepage".

During a search, autocomplete shows up with an actual link of the app. Was it there in 3.7.13?

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

Yes, it was. I mentioned it in the .13 post.

Can someone confirm if, just IF, they fixed the way purchased apps are being installed? There's a bug in JellyBean on Nexus S that purchased apps would install differently, so you would lose their widgets from the home screen on a reboot. This could be a play-store issue (combined, of course, with JBs new API)
