After Apple's recent success in filing a preliminary injunction against Samsung Galaxy Nexus sales in the US, the device vanished from the Play Store. Shortly after that, the 9th Circuit Court temporarily lifted the ban the Galaxy Nexus briefly appeared for sale again with a note that the device would "ship soon" (1-2 weeks).

Just moments ago, however, order was restored to the universe (or at least the US) – the Galaxy Nexus is now "In Stock" and can be ordered for delivery between 3 and 5 business days.

While it still isn't clear whether the Galaxy Nexus will end up needing the rumored OTA update that would mitigate Apple's complaints with the device (Apple was given until July 12th to respond to Samsung's motion to stay the ban), we'll be tracking the case and keeping you updated with new details as they emerge. In the meantime, click through the Play Store below to grab a Galaxy Nexus.

the N7 shipping can't be far off.. can it?

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

      Sure can't, let's hope.

how dope would it be if they are basically going out now and they just havent notified people.. I've seen the 12th come up a number of times in different rumors for the N7. If they went out tonight that means they would be here by friday or saturday.

        • Tyler Chappell

If it gets here by saturday, I will be a super happy person, otherwise this weekend is going to feel like the longest wait in the world

  • Shafeeque

F*** you apple. Nexus is back

  • infogulch

You mean "order has returned to the *galaxy*", right?

  • fixxmyhead

I think I should get one for the wife

  • Cjw

The nexus injunction happened, then it was officially banned, then it came back to the play store w a 1-2 week shipping estimate, now it's back to normal all in the two week period that I've been waiting for my paycheck this Friday to buy it. Life is good.

me too... post any feedback please!

      • http://www.facebook.com/Joecascio2000 Joseph Cascio

Got mine on the 13th. Funny because it shipped on the 12th but never sent me an email and it just showed up out of the blue. Really made my day.

Its not availablefor every country. "Sorry! Devices on Google Play is not available in your country yet. We're working to bring devices to more countries as quickly as possible. Please check back again soon."

Well if you have any address in the US you could end up using a VPN or web proxy to connect to the Google Play Store....

there is still no ota update to 4.1.1 on this device.....the big deal about owning this nexus I.E. direct goog updates etc is turning into a bit of a farce

    • Laurence

Er, what are you talking about? The OTA update to 4.1.1 is going out to the Galaxy Nexus as we speak.

      • wickets

Really? Anyone you know have it? I'm thisclosetorooting but would prefer to get the *real* ota update and also get it before they change anything re:apple

        • cybik

Actually I rooted canadian phones in order to apply this update :P

I finally bit the bullet and retired my flashed HD2 in favour of a GNex. Had bought one for the girlfriend and another for a friend and figured I deserved one! Having Jelly Bean right round the corner swayed me (hope it comes to China soon!)

I was tempted by the One X and also by the S3 but to be honest, taking all things into consideration, I think the Nexus is the best buy at the moment. No need for Tegra as I have it on the A700 so I just need a decent phone, with a nice display which I can feel confident will be up dated in good time. Have to say I'm delighted with it! I might be a Nexus convert - we'll see if they ever make a 10 inch tablet.....

  • Julio Lagara

I ordered mine on the 8th. Who has received their Gnex already? I keep checking my emails for tracking info.

    • http://twitter.com/magma9495 magma9495

Ordered mine on the 9th, still waiting for the tracking info also :/ Hopefully it'll be soon!

    • Goldenpins

Order mine hours before the ban hit, than at 3am the following day I got a tracking info with a shipped status. Took 2 days.

    • ScroatFan

Ordered mine on the 11th. No tracking, called on asked how long, 1-2wks or 3-5 days, guy had no idea, said maybe 3-5 days. Wondering if it would be faster to cancel and re-order

      • Julio Lagara

Don't reorder. Spoke to customer rep and they began shipping on the 12th. You'll get an email within the next 2 business days. :)

        • ScroatFan

          Mine shipped today

    • http://twitter.com/nabeels Nabeel

I ordered mine on the 10th. I got mine today, but no shipping notification or anything, so I was surprised when I had a package. No Jelly Bean, though

  • Goldenpins

    I honestly chucked reading this:

-order was restored to the universe. (at least in the US)

hahaha. Nice to have some humor every now and than on articles.

  • LanceMiller

I so want to buy one but not without a microSD slot. Some of us can't afford a plan that allows us to download gig after gig of data. Plus, even with 4G my downloads take forever. Google really blew it thinking that everyone can take to the cloud.

  • Slodawg

I ordered my Gnex on July 3rd and haven't received it yet. WTH.
