You may remember the name Heroes Call from E3, when NVIDIA touted it as one of the major upcoming games that would sport customizations to take full advantage of their Tegra chip. The Tegra HD (THD) version of the game was released last night at the low, low price of free. Thankfully, this might just be one of those rare cases in which "free" gets you quite a lot.

  • Himmat Singh

What a bummer....first thing after starting the game I realized the in-app purchases, highest of which is US$50! Anyways will just carry on and see how playable is the game w/o additional purchases.

so, if i get it right, it's not free, but freemium? is it enjoyable without purchases?

      • Himmat Singh

Yeah exactly. You can still play, but at every step of the way, you'll see that you're being left shorthanded until or unless your make an in-app purchase. I tell you the game is well-made but the IAP ruins it all. Give it a try.

        • http://jesuiscontentducontent.tumblr.com/ Yod-b

well, honestly, i really don't like this freemium system. if i like an app, i gladly purchase it, even for a higher price. but this way, i don't even start to play.
