  • 2GB RAM (!)
  • 16/32GB storage + microSD Slot

  • Gorilla Glass 2
  • 2100mAh battery
  • 4G (LTE)

Samsung also includes a number of proprietary apps, the most anticipated of which is probably the Siri-esque S Voice app.

As shown in the picture above, Verizon is saying their SGSIIIs (both colors) are shipping no later than July 9. The 16GB model goes for $200, while the 32GB goes for $250. Full retail price is $600 and $650, respectively.

Just pre-orderd...Got my unlimited data for another 2 years :O)

Is this guaranteed? I would assume that contract renewal would officially begin when the new phone is in hand and activated. (July 9th) What if the tiered data plan becomes live July 1st?

      • Findingentropy

Yeah... How did you pull that slick move off? I have been debating about holding off on upgrading until they change their policy back.

For everyone wondering, I spoke with a Tech before I pre-ordered and specifically asked if this would renew my contract and I could keep my data. She said Verizon hasn;t officially announced it yet, but if I upgrade/pre-order it will lock me in for another 2 w/ unlimited.

EDIT: It also shows the "ship by date" as the 6th and it allowed me to select unlimited data, instead of a tiered plan. Therefore I have already selected the plan and it will be active with the device :O)

The ship date of July 9th is a "Ship by" date. Meaning it could SHIP as late as July 9th but im sure it will come earlier than that. Im guessing June 20-28th...

Anyone else getting a broken billing and shipping information page in regard to the forms?  It lists 'company name' instead of customer name and the name/address fields are greyed out, preventing me from entering data. (They're actually prefilled, but their validation thinks they're empty, preventing the next button from going anywhere). Seems to happen on both Chrome and Safari.

I wish you wouldn't quote the device only price but also include the price of the contract.

I just ordered it, it lists unlimited data in the order info, and somehow it lists today as the ship by date.

Does anybody know how pre-orders work if you're switching from another carrier?  I'd like to pre-order, but I'm afraid they'll port my number now instead of when the phone arrives in a month.  Anyone done this before with Verizon?
