Gameloft, creator of great Android games you feel like you've seen before, is at it again with N.O.V.A. 3, the third (obviously) in the sci-fi FPS shooter series that follows Master Chief Kal Wardin as he fights off the Covenant Volterite armada. The game's description touts an epic storyline and, frankly, we'd expect nothing less from Bungee Gameloft.

In all seriousness, despite the game's similarities to other major properties, Gameloft is well-known for making solid, enjoyable, if familiar, games. N.O.V.A. 3 also touts up to 12-player multiplayer modes, and unprecedented levels of storage space requirements (to the tune of 2GB). The game is available for $7 on the Play Store. Be sure you're willing to give it a shot, though. With that much data to be downloaded to play, you'll likely exceed the 15-minute return window long before you're able to play.

My question is, why nobody sue them?

    • http://twitter.com/rohanXm Rohan Mathur

Because Apple doesn't make video games.

        Hahahaha! Great reply! XD

It's very hard to sue on the "concept" or "feel" of a video game. Nintendo tried, and basically failed, for years.

      • lefty2717

I never thought someone could be sued for making something with a rectangular shape or for asking someone to move their finger from left to right but here we are!

        • DCMAKER

damn straight you nailed it on the head lol....if you can sue for that then you can sue for concept hahha.

    • Bariman43

Sue for what? Clones in gaming have done nothing but good for the industry, why sue for reusing an idea? It's a waste of time, money, and only something Apple would do.

Is there any way to get it on my ASUS Slider? It says it's not compatible.

  • sssgadget

Is the data downloaded from Google servers or gameloft servers? Google changed to 2gb sometime back.

    • http://twitter.com/rohanXm Rohan Mathur

Usually Gameloft games are though the app itself, not through the store.

  • Jasonc07

I thought you now had 15 minutes from the end of the download? Im sure i've read stories about exactly this on Android Police?

    • br_hermon

You're right, the story needs to be edited. Can't remember where I read it (AP or Droid Life probably) but I remember seeing the same thing.

      • Himmat Singh

Additional data download is from Gameloft's and not Google's servers. 15 mins from end of download only applies if that extra data is downloaded from Google's servers.

        • br_hermon

          Good point. You're right.

  • Gresten

Does it work well on the Galaxy Nexus?

  • ElfirBFG

Glad I read this, I now know a whole lot about the game...

  • Himmat Singh

How would anyone rate this game against, say, Shadowgun or Dead Space both in terms of graphics & gameplay?

  • Cardinal

that's looking as good as halo 2 as far as graphics go.
