Definition: A "nightly" is a bleeding edge release that is built on a daily basis, usually at night after a full day's worth of new code has been committed.

It could oftentimes be unstable and not properly tested, lacking any changelogs, but eventually evolving into alphas, betas, release candidates, and finally stable releases.

Update: Confirmed working on both Sensation and T-Mobile Sensation 4G.

Have an HTC Sensation or T-Mobile Sensation 4G? Your day may have just gotten a little better - CyanogenMod 9 (Android 4.0) nightlies have officially arrived. While we're not 100% sure this ROM actually will work on the T-Mobile version of the Sensation, this thread suggests it's likely possible. That doesn't mean it's particularly easy, though - so be sure you know what you're doing before you go flashing away.

Hit up CyanogenMod downloads now to get the ROM.

Works fine on my T-Mobile Sensation.

      Thank you sir. Flashing away.

Same here. I've been using a form of CM9 thanks to Vorbeth and others who collaborated on "Open Sensation."
Cool tidbit: they helped build a lot of key components used in CM9 and vice versa.

Indeed. Big ups to Vorbeth, interviligium, faux123, Sc2k, TamCore, and elelinux.

  • Marc

Flashing it as I type this.

  • aNYthing6

Biggest drawback compared to OpenSensation: no 1080p video recording.

Really? Mine does. Are you using the latest update? May 13th?
Only issue with it is that mine doesn't focus...

      • aNYthing6

You misunderstood. Open Sensation has 1080p, CM9 nightly doesn't.

Its frustrating that they are focusing on devices that are well known for getting ICS soon if not already having it.

While my G2 might see CM9 at the approach of the GS3 in US markets, Which makes it pointless...

    • Simon Belmont

Did you ever think maybe they're getting attention BECAUSE of the ICS update? The drivers from those updates make the CM9 work better.

I'm waiting for a CM9 ROM to drop for my EVO 3D after its official ICS update hits next month. Can't wait.

Does it have both HDMI out via MHL and the HID bluetooth profiles?
