I'm not going to lie: I have an unhealthy obsession with mobile office software. I've tried nearly every one available in the Play Store, but I keep coming back to OfficeSuite Pro. Its blend of excellent features, intuitive and easy to use interface, and cloud storage integration (Box, Dropbox, SugarSync, and Google Drive) makes it my personal favorite document, spreadsheet, and presentation editing software for my Android devices.

For a limited time, you can snag this excellent office suite for a mere $0.99 - a full $14.00 off of its regular price. OfficeSuite Pro 6 offers support for a number of commonly-used documents, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and PDFs; it also features a built-in file browser and email reader, so you can get more done without having to navigate away from the app. It also supports both phones and tablets, so you can buy it once and put it on all of your devices.

Great. I have just bought it! The price is right! Let's teach devs to present low prices. It helps fight pirates.

    Great doc editing app...great price.

THANKS! I finally can get away from the version that I got from amazon as free app of the day. They are always lagging behind with the updates.

    • Morbidz

       ditto

    • ChumbleSpuzz

True, but the copy I got from the Amazon's FAOTD updates to version 6 as well. Who know how long it will remain up to date though. May just get it from the Play store as well.

Since I am trying to keep my office suite comparison on XDA (http://goo.gl/DgLqY) updated I want the updates asap not whenever amazon decides to release them :D (yeah yeah, I know it takes me months to update but that's not the point haha!)

I have Quickoffice Pro HD but hey a deal is a deal, take my money

I've switched from ThinkFree to OfficeSuite and I definitely prefer that one. At least the license verification isn't paranoid on that one.

Saw this a moment ago on my Android app sale guide and was thinking whether should I take the plunge or not. I am not merely going to buy it for the sake of buying it, even if it's at USD0.99 only.

Anyways, I use Polaris Office currently (came with my Tab). So, in comparison with Polaris Office, is this better? If yes, I'd snag the app!

While we're at it, I found another great deal - SlideIT keyboard is on sale USD0.99 as well. Too bad though I already made my mind up on SwiftKey, so gonna wait for that to go on sale while I use the Beta 3.

BTW just curious, was Office Suite 5 a different app or they updated 5 to 6? Thanks!

    • http://www.miniphysics.com/ Mini Physics

      They updated 5 to 6.

  • guyfromtrinidad

Just checked it out and its a good deal but I think Quickoffice Pro is much better.

  • CeluGeek

Thanks for the heads up. Great app and an excellent deal for $0.99!

But I hit a roadblock that I'm surprised people aren't complaining as loudly as I think they would, or is it just me? I tried to buy OfficeSuite from my tablet and I got an error "The item you are trying to buy is not available" at checkout. I had to buy it from my phone, and once purchased there, I was able to install it on my tablet too. I've had this problem way too many times buying apps from a tablet -- Honeycomb or ICS it's the same problem. GRRRR!

  • garychencool

Wow, weeks after some of use bought this app for $2.99. I though this app would never go down to $0.99. I wonder if I can still refund it and save $1.99...

Thanks for the tip on this!

This is why I love Android police. They give you relevant information while saving you time and in this case money.

Do you think OfficeSuite is better than Documents to Go?

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

OfficeSuite is my go-to document app. I uninstalled Documents To Go a long time ago.

  • Chris Bozsik

Was gonna buy it when it was $2.99 but decided i didn't need it... for a buck they can take my money :P

OfficeSuite Pro is my favorite too. There are a few screenshots here, of a couple of the other Office Apps for Android, just for comparison.
