Welcome back to another week of the Android Police Podcast - and this week, we're keeping the variety of content down, because the Galaxy S III is officially here, and it's only natural that we should discuss it. Hit up the outline below the RSS subscription info to see the topics we'll be delving into this week.

Holy Crap! This has got to be the earliest a weekly podcast has ever been posted!

Just in time for the Friday drive home and the weekend. We're trying to do Thursday recordings and publishing by Thursday night to the feeds, then a post by Friday morning.

    • Bob Severns

Yes it is. I am going to try to upload them as soon as I am finished editing/compressing the episodes each week. This usually ends up being 1:30-2am on the morning following the recording session. We are recording Wednesday night next week, so look for a Thursday morning release. We are considering live-casting our recording session to a select beta audience soon--live chat, etc. We want the AP faithful's interaction and opinion. Stay tuned!

I seriously disagree with most of the qualms raised against voice transcription.

First off, even on GB I have had a ton of success simply dictating texts on my phone.

More than that, several of the least tech savvy people I know have been using text voice commands without issue for over a year.

It sounds like someone may need to be working on their non-regional diction.

I use Voice Actions (Voice Search) to navigate to things all the time, and most of the time it works fine, so it's definitely useful already. My wife, who's not technical, also uses it. Sometimes it works pretty well with texting, but the times it doesn't are enough to turn me off and never use it, personally. I'll probably use it a lot more with dictation mode once I get ICS on the Epic Touch.

I'd like to find an app that would allow me to take a
picture of a single or multi-page document, turn it into a PDF and
    attach it to an email.
    Does this exist?
