The AT&T Galaxy SII (i777) isn't the only Android device getting official CyanogenMod 9 nightly love today, as the first nightlies just went live for the HP TouchPad (codename tenderloin) and the LG Nitro HD (codename p930, also known as LG Optimus LTE on Bell Canada).

Definition: A "nightly" is a bleeding edge release that is built on a daily basis, usually at night after a full day's worth of new code has been committed.

It could oftentimes be unstable and not properly tested, lacking any changelogs, but eventually evolving into alphas, betas, release candidates, and finally stable releases.

Technically, there were some TouchPad nightlies floating around, but today is the first day both of these devices were officially added to the CM Download Page, and that deserves some acknowledgement - and perhaps even celebration.

More info on the p930 release is available in this Google+ post by Ricardo Cerqueira (aka RC, aka arcee).

So, how does that having CM9 support feel, TouchPad/Nitro HD owners?

P.S. See those green icons next to the file names? Those are torrent download links - use them if you can and ease the load on CM's mirror network, all while lowering their costs too.

Update: Brad Linder of Liliputing shot a quick video to showcase today's CM9 release for the TouchPad:

Blame your browser, it's autocorrecting incorrectly. You can get all the same files at http://download.cyanogenmod.com.

Ok, I've successfully avoided complaining for a while, but I'm starting to get really curious. Before there was any releases of CM9, it was fairly obvious the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was going to get a lot of love (Steve even talked up his own work on it). Then it's one of the earlier set of devices to get a snapshot of cm9, nearly a month ago. Absolutely nothing has happened since the March 2nd release. Am I missing something, or is it weird that it seems to have fallen off the map?

I have had the Codeworx ROM on my Galaxy S II for a while now and while it's okay, it needs to be stable.
