Last week, Amazon started a promotion to celebrate the Appstore's first birthday. One week and 28 apps later, that sale is coming to a close - but you still have a chance to grab some decent apps at a discounted price.

Here's a look at all of the deals Amazon is currently offering as part of this promotion:

While most of these apps have been the Free Premium App of the Day at one point or another, this is still a good chance to snag some pretty decent apps at a discount.

Is there actually an app that hasn't been Free Premium of the Day?

I personally despise the Amazon App Store, I use it for the free app of the day. But I refuse to buy an app through it, getting updates for apps purchased through Amazon is a joke. If I like an app I will buy it from the Play Store so I can get updates quickly.

Agreed...I find the software too buggy and terribly designed, the free apps are generally crap (with a decent one about every month and only a handful of good ones since the very beginning). I've put together a short list of apps that I still use and figured it would only cost about $15 to buy them from Google so I can remove Amazon completely.

a few pretty good deals there. too bad it's through amazon.

Everyone of these have either been a free app of the day or were already on sale on the Android market for the same price or cheaper. I would think they would have better luck with different apps.

I seriously am tired of the Amazon App store, in specific their "free" apps. So many of them give me random errors "You don't own this application it will now terminate." That's highly irritating. The last thing I want to do is buy them on sale for that crap to happen.

Happy birthday Amazon Appstore that teases all these terrific deals but still isn't available in Canada!! Don't even bother now though, it's obvious Amazon doesn't know people outside 48 states have internet access and loads more disposable income considering we actually have a job and a house and a strong economy...
