Are you sick of all the measly little 10.1-inch Android tablets floating around the retail scene? Is portability the last thing on your mind when purchasing a new "mobile" device? Would you rather use up your screen real estate for watching TV than doing something productive (or even playing a game)? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then Toshiba's monstrous new AT330 may be the tablet for you.

The AT330 is an upcoming behemoth in the tablet world, sporting a massive 13.3-inch display, the quad-core Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.0, 5MP are 1.3MP cameras, and a built in TV tuner with retractable antennae. Nope, not kidding. Toshiba, not one to shy away from full-sized ports, also included an SD Card slot, SIM card slot, and HDMI port on this bad-boy.

As far as details are concerned, though, that's about all we have right now. There's no word on potential availability, or if we can even expect this beast to hit North America.

Nice size, but what's the resolution?
If it has the same 720p, it will be a bummer, I can even see the pixels on my Transformer, and I'm sad about it...

    I like that tablet :)

a built in TV tuner with retractable antennae.

    inspired by Chinese?

China mobiles have that thing years before :)

    SIZE. DOES. MATTER.

...but so do things like price and performance, so we'll just have to wait and see if this is any good. :)

Make this under 700 bucks and I will buy immediately.

Make this under 600 bucks and I will buy immediately

Make this under 500 bucks and I... wait... oh, nevermind, I can't afford it anyway...

Ice Cream Sandwich looks beautiful on the tablet, wow.

    "monstrous"

you know, a 4.5" phone was once considered as such. now

  • Rob

    Still a bit small

  • Stocklone

I want to punch Apple in the face for starting this if you see pixels, it's bad mentality.

    • Sam

I think the only good thing about having pixels so small you can't see them is if you get a dead pixel you won't be able to tell :P

Anything less than 1080p on this tablet would just be wrong. 1900 x 1200 or even 2100 x 1600 would compliment the tab's specs. Nice size tab though but price, final specs and availability would determine the tablet's success.

shut up and take my money, under 700 and ill consider under 600 and ill buy it asap. that thing is awesome!!!!

  • Tim Diamond

I cant wait till our bezel-less future, this thing would be near 15" in the same form factor with thin bezels, regardless this is pretty nice, if i didnt already have a tablet or had lots of spare money this would be on my radar.

  • Ali Fazel

Very nice-looking tablet, and nice specs, too. I think it's too big for most use, though.

  • Himanshu

Android Apps would look abysmal on that screen! They look horrible even on the 10.1" display.

  • Franky

About ten minutes battery-life I guess, and as portable as a surfboard. Is it waterproof at least, so I can use it as the latter?
