Who doesn't like games? Or charity? Or setting your own prices? If you answered "me" to any of these questions, you may take the rest of the article off. The rest of you, get ready for the Humble Bundle For Android 2! The same rules apply to the second round as the first: pay what you want, designate how much should go to charity, get licenses for all available platforms.

The list of games are as follows:

  • Swords & Soldiers
  • Canabalt
  • Zen Bound 2
  • Cogs
  • Avadon

All of these games are brand new to Android and come complete with licenses to play them on Windows, Mac, Linux, and even unlock the games on your Steam account (where available). The payment options are even more awesome, allowing users to decide how much of their custom price goes to developers, to charity, and to the Humble Bundle folks themselves.

Game development has entered into a new golden era with the advent of mobile platforms, and things like the Humble Bundle are a great example of what the independent game developer industry can do when they're given powerful distribution tools. Don't forget to check out the teaser video below for a look at all five games.

The Humble Bundle for Android 2 is now live at the source link. Have at it!

I don't know anything about any of these games!

    • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

Because they're brand new to Android and we had no idea they were coming.

  • Jordi

My first humble purchase, weee! :)

  • Michael

Is it bad that I've never heard of any of these games?

  • rxpert

    Very interesting idea.... purchased

  • entropic

I bought this on Canabalt alone. That game is such a fun timekiller.

This Humble Bundle is only an enforcing example to me that 99.99% of games (on any platform) suck.

The first Humble Bundle only had 2 games that I actually like: Osmos and World of Goo.

    This one has none.

    • http://justreboot.wordpress.com Dei

first humble bundle: 2 of 5
This humble bundle: 0 of 5

      2 of 10 liked = 20%
      remainder = 80%

In your opinion, 80% of Humble Bundle games suck.

      80% < 99.99%

This is off by a fair margin.

Rational response: You don't like games, except for sometimes, when you do.

        upvote for you! (i wish)

No. Quite simply, I have a higher standard for quality games. These don't seem to meet them. I purchased this Humble Bundle (100% to charity) and gave it to a friend who agreed that these games are sub-par.

Also, your statistics are flawed due to the small sample size. I could go through Steam for you and provide a more accurate sampling; I can assure you, at least 99% wouldn't meet my standards.

It's also worth noting that in some of the most extreme parts of my life, I've clocked 80 to 90 hours of gameplay a week.

Lately, being older with increased responsibilities (like work), I don't play as much, but still easily can get 10-30 hours of game time in a handful of games.

Saying I don't like games is an over simplification. Nobody likes every game ever made.

Go back to PC then, we don't want your complaints here.

thanks Eric. don't know why i didn;t receive an email from the last HB i participated in. either way, new games for me, cash for charity.

    He said, D-Butts. Huh-huh.

(Seriously, awesome looking bundle. Damn all those legos I spent my money on last week!)

  • Himmat

Games don't really look classy. Not so sure I want to take the plunge or not. At least the previous bundle had Osmos and Warzone, two games that were highly rated and that I was already looking forward to get.

  • Jelle

LOL genious message when you want to try it for 10 cent or something.

It appears that you have no heart! Please prove that you are really human.

(And yes, i bought it for more than 1 dollar)

  • Joris

Can't find them in the Google Play Store.
Are they about to come out or only via the Humble Bundle?

  • Edd

Lol I paid for Osmos and World of Goo, full price, and they're great games, and never heard of the Humbl Bundle deal. I look forward to learning about these games (hopefully through AP).

  • spydie

How disappointing... a bunch of low resolution games. Not thanks.

  • Rob

Why are there never any games I actualy want in these bundles?! D=

  • http://150waystowin.tumblr.com/ krzaq

Cogs is a really good puzzle game. Swords & Soldiers is a pseudo-RTS game with hectic action and nice graphics. And of course Canabalt - great game, no mattter what platform it's on :)

I do not know a lot about the other games. Will check 'em soon.

  • http://rxsiu.wordpress.com rxsiu

I love these bundles. Great incentive to support devs.

  • Chris Bozsik

Bought it since some games look fun. Canabalt intrigues me and if Cogs is the same as the one in Playstation Home I enjoyed it.

  • Michael

I just bought the bundle and for anyone that has doubts because you haven't heard of the games, just stop it. Not all of the games are low resolution. Canabalt is becuase of the feel that the game is going for. Old school side scroller. I've played through all of them and all of them are great games. If you don't like all of them, well then pay what you think for only the ones you think you might like.

  • MrYuzhai

can't believe so many complainers here and moaners here.. humblebundle is a great concept and raises money for very good causes.. people complaining suck.

i've got both android bundles and i think they've both been pretty cool.

to those who seem to just chat beans and talk shit need to understand - you pay what you want. if you're a heartless bastard then whatever.. if not and you can spare whatever it is that you can - do it.
