Last Updated: April 3rd, 2012

So, we all know today marks the launch of a certain other popular tablet. But Android Police and NVIDIA are here to give you a chance to win the only cutting-edge tablet with a fully-functioning, battery-packing keyboard dock that allows you to transform your device into an Android-powered laptop, and rocks a quad-core processor (technically, 5 cores!) with a twelve-core GPU. Of course, we're talking about the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime.

This contest is now over. Here are our winners, selected at random:
  • Andrew Leatherbarrow
  • Chris (arcon)

Congratulations, guys - all of you will be contacted for your information in the near future!

Everyone else - keep participating and stay tuned to Android Police so that you don't miss our upcoming giveaway announcements. You can follow AP on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and RSS.

Update: Here's Andrew and his new baby:

The Prize

And we're not giving away just any Transformer Primes - no, no - we're offering up two of the fully loaded, Amethyst Gray 64GB models complete with keyboard docks to keep you juiced up and productive at all times.

Here's the spec breakdown:

  • NVIDIA 1.3GHz Tegra 3 Processor with 12-core GeForce GPU
  • 10.1" LCD Super IPS+ display (1280x800) with Gorilla Glass
  • 1GB RAM / 64GB internal storage
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (via OTA upgrade)
  • microSD slot
  • microHDMI port
  • USB port (keyboard dock)
  • SD card slot (keyboard dock)
  • 6600mAh secondary battery inside keyboard dock
  • 8MP rear / 1.2MP front cameras
  • Weight: 537g (without dock)
  • Thickness: 10.4mm (without dock)

NVIDIA Tegra 3 And TegraZone

Of course, productivity is only half the equation here. The Transformer Prime's Tegra 3 '4+1' (four regular cores, one power-sipping efficiency core) processor is a gaming powerhouse, and even has a performance setting toggle allowing you to get the very most of your tablet in every situation. And finding the newest high-end titles for your Transformer Prime won't mean meandering through an endless list. NVIDIA's TegraZone (app preinstalled on the Prime) gives you access to specially Tegra-optimized versions of popular and visually stunning Android games like Shadowgun or Sprinkle.

How To Win

Entering is simple - go to our post on upcoming Tegra 3 games (here), browse around, watch a few trailers, and pick your favorite upcoming TegraZone title from those 5 listed. Then, leave a comment on this post (be sure to include your email in the appropriate comment field!) with the title of the game you chose, along with a quick sentence or two explaining why you chose it. That's it.

The contest will run from now until March 20th at 11:59PM PST, after which the two winners will be selected at random.

Good luck!

  • Thehoot

Definitely Hamilton's Great Adventure because, while platformers are always fun, running through a field of punji sticks while dodging boulders rolling in a cross pattern is how I like to spend my weekends. With this game, I can have fun even when it's raining outside!

Hamilton's Great Adventure for me, the platforming and puzzle gameplay looks great and it also looks a bit like Indiana Jones which is always good!!

    Golden Arrow

Some nice looking graphics really go a long way in selling a game to me.

  • http://www.flexlabs.org Artiom Chilaru

I'm quite excited about the Dark Kingdom THD release, as I'm a fan of RPG games, and I'm quite impressed with what they're managing to get out of the Tegra 3 processor! This is what games should look like on the new platforms!

I like best Dark Kingdom THD. I am a big fan of role playing games and this one just looks amazing!!

  • Xiazer

Honestly? Eden to GREEEEN looks to be the most fun, in a Plants vs Zombie way. Sure the rest ~look~ nice, but that has nothing to do with game play. Give me a game I can pick up and put down with relativistic ease and you've sold me a copy.

  • Jaz

  • Douglas Houston

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II is my choice. Sonic is a classic that I have enjoyed over and over. You can always count on great gameplay with a reasonable amount of difficultly but not so much that it becomes tedious as so many games tend to do.

Omg..... Eden to GREEEEN! hands down, as if Plants vs Zombies wasn't a phenomenon. Remember the jail guard that let 3 convicts escape because he was too busy playing Plants Vs Zombies? Yea I'm excited about this one.

Golden Arrow looks like a great action game, with graphics that are better then the last generation of consoles, and approaching those of current generation systems! I'm really looking forward to the fire effects the most.
