For the uninitiated, Super Monkey Ball is a classic game in which you control one of four playable monkeys encased in a translucent ball  though a series of twists and turns to reach the goal.

The game features six worlds with 125 total levels, as well as four additional mini games: Monkey Target, Monkey Bowl, Monkey Golf, and Monkey Base - a multi-player mode exclusively for tablets.

The game is available for a launch-time promotional price of $0.99; hit the widget to grab it.

looks like a full-featured Monkey Ball experience for just a buck, I'm in for that.

Yeah, I got it and it runs perfect. I'd have paid a dollar just for the monkey bowling. That brings back some memories.

      "full-featured Monkey Ball experience"
I just bought it because that made me laugh like a 16 year old stoner-nerd. (Which i was, at one time, several decades ago...)

        Nice try, 16-year-old stoner nerd.

Ugh, I remember this on the gamecube and how effing hard it was

Totally worth it at the price of $0.99. It's $2.99 on my iPad. LOL.

it always puzzled me why wouldn't they just start porting the 1000+ games from their extensive library instead of releasing the mediocre remakes. Sega how about you give us a 60fps Daytona and Virtua Fighter for 99 cents?
