Back in November, Google announced that it would be moving the annual Input/Output (I/O) developers' conference from April 24-25 to June 27-29. We've all been waiting patiently for registration to open for the now three-day even since then, and Vic Gundotra announced earlier today on G+ that users will be able to register beginning on March 27th at 7AM PT.

While it's good to finally know when registration will open, there is a bit of bad news. If you attended last year's conference, then you probably remember paying somewhere in the range of $450 for your ticket. That won't be the case this year, as the ticket prices have doubled. Yeah, you're looking at $900 just to get in the door. Still, if you plan on going, you better be at the ready bright and early on the 27th - last year's event sold out in less than an hour.
