Mobile World Congress means different things to different people. To marketers, it means reaching new audiences, to company execs, its their chance to make us of those public speaking lessons. For us gadget nerds, it means one thing: shiny new toys! What are you most looking forward to adding to your personal arsenal of gadgets? A shiny new HTC One device? Do you have a need for a projector phone that's gone unfulfilled until now? Or are you eager to get your hands on a phone/tablet/netbook with 14,000 mAh worth of battery?

Once you're done voting in the poll, head to the comments to let us know why you're drooling for them.

What new device are you most looking forward to?

Padfone Padfone Padfone. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

    • Luly

Hahaha gotta agree that I'm really impressed with Padfone too.

The concept is really cool and has so much potential in it.

  • Mark

Got to be the padphone - just for the James Bond-like cool factor.

But as another commentator elsewhere pointed out - what carrier is going to allow customers to use their phone to power a tablet without extra $$?

    • caliber

Almost definitely going to have to buy that one unlocked, at least in the US.

So it'll be potentially big in Europe and Asia, where cell phone providers are a healthy ecosystem, probably DOA in North America.

      • WildKarrde

Ugh, you just depressed me. The carriers probably see the padfone as all that is unholy (to their quarterly earnings).

Well screw them, I still want one.

    • Johannes

Glad I'm living in Europe :D

    • PhilNelwyn

Well, it's only one device actually, and a "screen dock" that won't boot without the phone.
      No tethering.

  • John Stableford

    PADFONE! PADFONE! AAAARGH! DO WANT!

  • VonLaserface

Eagerly awaiting release details on the Padfone.

I'm fully prepared to import this beast and move one of my numbers to a prepaid GSM for this.

  • booooooo!

where iz the nokia 808 pureview on this list? Thatz just unfair.... im Unsubscribing. Ill go to another site that actually tells the whole story

    • Eric

      I can't tell if you're serious?

      • Kenny O

How dare you leave that phone out, you would think this is an Android focused site or something......I'm unsubscribing as well.

  • Kenny O

Even though I already have the transformer prime, I wanna check out the pad phone.....If the rumors are true about T-Mobile getting the HTC One X with a tegra 3 and vanilla Android - I'm all in on that one two.

  • Eric

Tough choice between One X and the Galaxy Note. I went with the Note because I know I'll get it, whereas the One X may be surpassed by the SGS3. I can't wait to take handwritten notes on a tablet.

  • Rob

I've been looking forward to the Padfone since last year!.....then they ruined it.

    Transformer Pad 300 please!

  • Dan

Its all about the transformer prime infinity, although I won't buy a new tablet this year because I bought a Motorola Xoom last year. I will have to wait for the infinity 2 next year.

  • L boogie

Much like the Pringles slogan, you just can't have one.... I'm ready to go to infinity and beyond with Asus with the padfone as well as the infinity tab but would not overlook the Huawei DQ XL/ Mediapad 10 (not mentioned), Toshiba 7.7 tab, One X, Optimus 4X hd or even the Fujitsu arrows phone with the 13.1 mp.

  • Tim Thomas

Really want the Padfone but by the way it looks, we might not see in the U.S. If not, I think the ASUS Transformer Pad 300 will be a game changer because of the price. Hoping that the plastic shell is the only major difference between the 300 and the Infinity.

  • Dandmcd

Padphone sounds cool, will wait to see how reviews are when it comes out ,and I'll try to pick one up in Hong Kong.

My vote goes to the Ascend D, however. I'm liking the off/on switch for the custom launcher, and the phone specs are incredible.

  • Jesse Coletta

Add the Acer A700. That's mine.

  • Alex1x

    Nothing exciting compared with SGS2.
My excitement is when I get:
    a. S4 pro OR 4-1
    b. Much better camera lense/quality
    c. Desktop features on my hdtv
    d. Usb 3.0

I voted padfone, but maybe I'm waiting for SGS3, we'll see...

  • Mike

ELUGA Power! Gotta love that name! EEEELLLUUUUGGGGAAA!*

*I have no intention of ever buying one.

  • sgtguthrie

Can you add none of the above? I wan a quad core device on vzw. I was disappointed. Only device that truly impressed me this week was the leaked specs for the SGS3! God, I hope that comes to vzw :-)

  • sgtguthrie

I did like htc's cameras, but not when you add sense, non-removable 1800mah battery, no external storage, etc...

  • Stephen

I'm really done with Gadgets this year unless the Lotto pay me off my money soon. I just got the Prime 2 months ago and what Asus did is to literally bend me over without buying me dinner first.. #infinity and #padfone aghhh

  • Barton

    None. It would be:
    1. HTC One X if it had a microSD slot and removable battery.
    2. Transformer Infinity if it had a microSD slot.

  • sos

The pad phone concept really beats everything out there!! Its gonna be a huge success!! Looking forward to its international release!!

  • rick

I am just waiting for Samsung Galaxy S3

  • richtyn

Pst... Asus Transformer Pad Infinity... no Prime in the name.

  • Dmitry Pashkevich

Nothing blew my mind at MWC this year. Voted 'other'

  • Ze

    Any phone carrying UBUNTU Mobile

    • Dmitry Pashkevich

Oh, how could I've forgotten about that. I second this! Definitely want to play with Ubuntu for Android and Ubuntu TV this year! Doesn't count as a device though

  • crocky

Have a Prime and completely love it but also really looking forward to seeing Infinity.
Very much looking forward to the padfone. I need to upgrade phone so that will be a runner, will also have a close study of the HTC One X.

  • Roger

Just have the Google tablet rumor pan out, please. Then I simply won't care what device anyone else puts out. I have a few already and none of them gets an OS update. Google tab will be the Android gamechanger.

  • Hal Motley

I am still quite excited about FXI's Cotton Candy!

  • EmmaP

I found it really hard to choose between the three Asus products!! They are all very exciting...

  • http://www.swehes.com @swehes

You know. I'm all for the padfone. The nice part about it is that Asus could then create more padfones and still use the same docking station and tabletdock. So only one part would have to be upgraded. Which I think is a nice feature. Also the possibilities of this from a business perspective will be awesome. Just slab Ubuntu on Android on top of it and we for sure have a winner. This is what I would get for all my employees.

  • Stube

Im looking forwoard the release of the Fujitsu FullHD Quadcore device

  • danny pontin

Cant wait for the new prime !!!

  • Raf

IMHO, one of the more interesting devices was the "Always Innovating HDMI Android dongle"
