Excellent deal for the new and unlocked version.

I'm seriously considering this, especially since the only other phones that have been announced for this year (so far) that interests me is the SGS3 (ok, not announced, but it's not like we don't know) and the HTC One X.

Can you, Ron, or anybody else weigh in...is it worth jumping on the Galaxy Nexus or wait a little longer? Normally I'm not quick to say something is 3 months old and it must be outdated, but to be brutally honest the camera and processor were already not impressive from the start. Given those shortcomings, do you guys feel it's worth holding out a few more months for a couple of devices that will probably be substantially superior?

As an aside, any device I get is gonna be rooted within a few hours of breaking the shrink wrap...in other words, I'm not worried if something doesn't come with ICS...

They don't ship outside of US ... :(

Man! I just got mine for $80 more at what WAS a great price a week ago. :-(

    I'm hungry.

I once made an ice cream sandwich from an ice cream sundae that I was eating in a restaurant, it was vanilla ice cream and it had three triangle shaped wafers rammed in to top, so I extracted two wafers (licking the chocolate sauce off of them both), delicately spooned lashings of ice cream onto one wafer and placed the other on top, when chowing down, the contents leaked out all over my trousers, imagine my predicament when I needed to go to the toilet (after using the jacket of the person on the next table to mop up the mess on my trousers) in a rammed restaurant, squeezing past people and verily pointing my groin in their face, as I am quite tall, the viewers of my crotch would think that I got all excited by my sundae and exploded in my pants so do you know what I did?

I pushed over the nearest disabled person and rushed to the toilet, climbing out of the second floor window, ending up in hospital with a broken leg and severe brusing from the kicking that the people who witnessed my push the disabled person over so in a nutshell, AVOID THE ICE CREAM SANDWICH!

I'll wait until the Potato Salad comes along instead.

It will be Popsicle, not Potato Salad

Anyone know if the Unlocked Galaxy Nexus being offered on Daily Steals will be compatible with TMobile's 3G/4G? I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I knew it would be faster than just EDGE.

    • Nard

Yes it does work on Tmobile's 3G/4G network.

      • Ashley

Great, Thanks much! I feel much better about the purchase now... lol

Just a friendly warning... Customer service is hit or miss. Two of my friends and I bought last time. One of them and myself got open boxes without warranty cards, they list it with an international warranty but actually it's with no US Warranty. And my friends came with DOA camera, and instead replacing it, they told him to get Samsung warranty service except there was not warranty card.... If your phone is fine, there shouldn't be a problem, but just be aware.

Just bought a used one for $500 on craigslist last week. I saw this go up late last night so I put my used one on craigslist for $550, the guy actually offered $600 if I drove it 20 minutes to him. Literally just deposited the money and ordered a brand new one. It's LINSANITY!

What do you guys think is the Galaxy Nexus the best phone out right now?

By the way, is Daily Steals legit? Do they send refurbs? I have read a lot of bad reviews and some good reviews about this reseller.

    • CactusCat

Virtually all refurbs. I've dealt with them before and had a couple of OK deals, but I ordered a Jawbone BT earpiece for my wife from them. It would never turn on nor would it take a charge. I sent it back (signature required). After 4 weeks, I contacted them, "where was my replacement unit?" They stated they'd never recieved it. I dug up the receipt where they signed it. Got a full refund but they didn't want to. Washed my hands of them. They're located in Brooklyn....

Has anyone gotten a tracking number for their order yet?
