You're a robot scout in space. Your name is iDaTank. You're relaxing, enjoying a nice day of whatever it is robots do on their One Fine Day off, when suddenly you get a transmission! There's a sequence of unidentified signals out in space! Since you're a robot, you are concerned with such things. So, the adventure begins to track down the source of the signal. And it had been such a fine day...

iDaTank may suffer from a bit of Engrish, but gameplay is pretty unique. You play on a very, very small 3D world. You travel around on your tiny little robot legs collecting energon glowing crystals to power the portals used to jump between asteroids. Meanwhile, you have to fend off headcrabs dark spider aliens with your one bitty cannon. Don't worry. You can upgrade your weapons as you progress through the game.

The controls are a little unintuitive in the beginning. It's unclear how to combat enemies at first (hint: run away from them, your cannon will take care of the rest), but once you get the hang of it, the game is pretty fun; the camera controls will give your brain a workout, however. Rolling around on the surface of a 3D asteroid is not a perspective the human mind is used to.

Teleport on over to the Market to try out the Lite version for free or pony up $0.99 worth of crystals for the full version.
