The weird, yet durable, Casio Android phone bearing probably the worst name in the history of Android devices, G'zOne Commando (oh, wait, the XYBOARD and Rezound win that trophy), is set to receive an update to software version C771M100. The update brings free Push-to-Talk capabilities along with security fixes and other things you may not necessarily care about.

Feh, you're just biased against anything with a 'z' in it, aren't you? ;)

    Will this effect root?

    • J-Dog

Probably... From my experience, most updates generally break root... Though I'd assume for a minor update like this, you should be able to re-root with little additional effort....

      But I'm no expert, so...

Looks like the update has gone live.

My non-rooted phone is super slow now! UGH!

  • Eric

My phone is no longer rooted after this update.
