Lenovo has been on fire at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, announcing not one, but two Android tablets, an Ice Cream Sandwich-powered TV, an Android-Windows hybrid laptop, and an Intel Medfield-powered smartphone... but wait, there's more!

The Chinese manufacturer also debuted the first Medfield tablet. While we don't know everything about this tablet, we do have most of the important details:

  • 1.6GHz Atom processor with hyperthreading
  • 10.1-inch display
  • 8.9mm thick
  • USB and HDMI ports (assume both are micro)
  • Android 4.0.x

Artem went (mostly) eyes-on with the device earlier today, have a look:

Since this device is still very pre-production, no release date or pricing information is available, but this is definitely one that we'll be keeping an eye on.

Nice palm heater... but where's the tablet?

      Eh?

I don't think I can be easily convinced that Atom will run cool...

      HAHAHAHA... really nice one, HARiKA.

another black bodied tablet... oh boy!

Just wish someone would ditch the *overdone* black body around the display and design a tablet body with the outer area around the display as a transparent outer frame. The area behind the display could still be black, or even a nice composite. Just put all the electronics out of sight, all under the display area. Get off the FOLLOWER train!!

... Actually let's not do that lol ... something to hide do we ?

  • RMC

hide? noo... Wifey & I have had Evo phones since launch and may upgrade to Andy 4.x this summer. I despise the fruity one, that's why I wish our Android tablet brethren would design something OTHER than more look-a-likes from that iCrap. This is the 21st century, get some new designs on the shelves!!
