Remember SoulCraft THD, the awesome action RPG game we mentioned last month? Well, the open beta finally hit the Android Market today, bringing angels, demons, apocalypse, and rich, realistic environments to your Tegra device. Check out the video below for a taste of the action:

SoulCraft THD allows you to play as an angel (with human and demon options coming later), taking part in a compelling story, set at a time when humans are on the brink of discovering the secret of eternal life.

The game takes players through several real (and realistic) locations including Venice, Rome, and Hamburg (with more locations coming soon), using weapons and spells to battle "lots of different and diversified enemies" as you decide who will win this epic war.

Best of all, the game is totally free, and MobileBits is encouraging players to provide opinions or report problems on their website's feedback page. If you've got a Tegra-powered phone or tablet with Android 3.1 or above, head to the Market using the link below, and give SoulCraft a go.

I'm four drinks in after a long day, and can't remember and can't type well enough to look it up. Does the Galaxy Nexus qualify as a Tegra device?
EDIT: Just found out by trying. No, it does not. Dammit.

dont worry, other Tegra games became available on non Tegra devices so I'm assuming this one will as well.

It's for Android 3.1+ Tegra, so no phones can play this right now.

    • Andrew Do

      unless you have ICS ;)

      • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

ICS + Tegra, so only unofficial builds, but you're right. Unless they filter out phone resolutions as well.

        • James

Or Galaxy Nexus with chainfire :)

  • Mgamerz

Your widget is broken (mobile site). Hopefully the story is more 'compelling' than shadowguns (what story?) Thay you said was compelling.
No phone support? Dont expect this game to go anywhere.

Thanks for the widget notice, I upgraded the mobile site plugin tonight, which broke all shortcodes (widget was one of them). Went ahead and fixed them now.

    Well...apparently the g2x doesn't O.O.

help anyone? anyone else having the same problem?

    • Mgamerz

Ita tablet only, but the artixe doesnt state that. Also the mobile site comment box is absolutely terrible. The keyboard always pops up on any click, and typing anything scrolls the page up like 3/4 so im not even going to bother to proof this post.

      • Orrett Douglas

        aww that sucks...no fun

      • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

It's 3.1+ which could mean ICS if you have a Tegra running it.

Welcome to the shittiness of the Android browser.

  • wtf

so it is transformer prime only

    • HomerSp

Works on tegra 2 devices as well (so the original transformer will work too).

    • jaimez02

No its for tegra 2 and 3 devices. It works great on my sony tablet s.

  • Himmat

I downloaded it on my Galaxy Tab 10.1. To be honest, I was looking ahead for this - based on the trailer and the fact it's free.

However, after playing the Beta version (which is most probably the final game anyway) I feel shortchanged.

This isn't a regular RPG game. I still don't get what you're supposed to do. Will try again sometime this coming week though.

    • nocturnhabeo

lol they are talking about adding 2 other playable character types and you are complaining that the beta doesn't have a point... It is a beta what do you expect

So can we expect this to hit Smartphones? It does say so in the trailer video. Just making sure.

I'm sorry but am I the only one who finds the irony in the "mock-up" phone at 0:20 they have in this ad? It's clearly a Galaxy Nexus.
