If your new year's resolution is to kill more time playing games on your Android device (that's mine, anyway), then Gameloft is all ready to give you the hookup beginning on December 29th, when all of their games will be dropped down to mere $0.99 in the Market. The one exclusion to this deal is Modern Combat 3 - it will, however, go on sale for one day (though they didn't mention the price).

Gameloft has some pretty killer games, including titles like Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, N.O.V.A. 2 HD, 9MM HD, Order & Chaos Online, and more.

This deal will begin on Thursday, December 29th and run until January 5th, 2012.

Update 1/2: Modern Combat 3 is now $0.99, but there seems to be a glitch in the Market. If you search for Modern Combat 3, it shows the $0.99 price tag (and allows you to purchase it for that amount). However, once you click on the title, the price is $6.99. The aforementioned problem seems to be all good now. Hit the widget to buy! Thanks, Aki!

Update 12/29: The deal is now live in the Market, hit the widgets below to buy!

  • Fabulas

I just might buy all of them.....with updates for Galaxy Nexus

  • Sam

MC3 will probably go 50% off. Others I am not too interested and I already have Asphalt 5/6.

    • Dustin Maki

Gameloft has already said on there Facebook page and even in the app descriptions on the market that MC3 WILL be $0.99 for 24 hours only but they did not say what day.

      • Jon Garrett

MC3 is .99 cents as of this morning.

  • Jonathan Silva

Won't buy any til Gameloft adds support for the Asus Transformer Prime. Tegra 3 quad core? Why haven't they added support already?

    • Jon Garrett

you're complaining about Tegra 3 which hasn't even really hit the streets yet.

I'm wondering why more than half their games don't support the Galaxy S II which is already a 6 month old phone.

      • http://lettersfromdave.wordpress.com daveloft

Because it's the only phone that uses the Mali GPU. The majority of devices use PowerVR or Adreno GPU's. It's a numbers game, eventually there will be enough devices to make it worthwhile. This is why I didn't buy the GS2.

        • Jon Garrett

I usually side load Gameloft apps if they say its not compatible with my device and 95% of the time it works. so why they say their not compatible when they are is just dumb.

    • http://darshankaria.com Darshan Karia

I totally agree with Jon Garrett, most of the games from gameloft are not compatible with SGSII even... :-( i just wish they could test/update the compatibility soon...

      • Jon Garrett

If you have another device, buy the game then side load it onto your GS2. that's what I do and 95% of the time it works.

    • Mike Gauley

Hell, they don't even support the original Transformer

  • Michael

They don't support the TF101 either and there is no way I am putting any of these on my 4in phone. When I got the TF, I removed all of the games from my phone anyway.

  • http://justreboot.wordpress.com Dei

Excellent, I need more paid apps to write reviews on. ^.^ Getting them at a bargain price makes it oh so much less painful.

  • Calbino

I got excited for just a moment, until I remembered that all Gameloft games are just cheap rip offs of popular games.

    Don't give in!

  • http://androidpandora.blogspot.com/ Myself

their games are just reskinnes of the same game, over and over... overpriced piece of crap

  • DCMAKER

they are reskinnes but are fun reskinnes....i dont see any other good games like these for a phone. Second yes they are over prices for 5 bucks but a dollar? why not? My only beef is that you can't transfer your game to a new device. For a dollar its not a big deal...if i paid 5 bucks I better be able to...aka why i dont buy their games. Also in their FAQ it says you can only redownload in the 90 day period so if my phone breaks and i get a new one or i uninstall it for the space and want to reinstall it I am Fed? You got to be kidding me?

    • Fabulas

if the games are bought from the Android Market, can't you install on any device under that account?

      • DCMAKER

not sure? I was looking from the website. I wonder if the sale is android market or site only. I am new to android stuff mostly so sorry.

        • siddardha

Once you purchase a app under a Google account, you can install game on any device with the same account,(if it's compatible)

  • Dandmcd

No Transformer 1 or Prime support, so no way I will buy. Gameloft and EA continue to duke it out for worst Android developer! This should be a category in the Android Police Andy Awards.

    • Josh

exactly. no support on my transformer except for uno..

  • Finaldeath

Too bad almost none of their games work on the sony tablet s. Wish sony would get on them about this considering they promised before the tablet launched many of their games would be updated to support it.

  • Falconator

Order & Chaos...that's the one I missed on the G.Market at the .99 price a while back. My second chance is finally here!!!

  • http://adnfriki.com iRe

If it is true I am very glad, and is likely to buy some for my Motorola Defy :)

  • Jephri

Are they offering this sale through the Market or on their site?

    • DCMAKER

thats what i am wondering...it makes a big difference

      • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

        Market.

  • Lorenzo in a Benzo

None of the apps are 99 cents. As far as I can tell today is 12/29????

    • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

Sale started at around 9am PST.

  • Fabulas

    they are now .99

  • Blizzard22

I live in Germany and there is no pricedrop.
Everything is expensive like always :'(!

  • Blizzard22

    Ok it works now.
But the only game that I'm interested in is 9mm.
    I want MC 3 now!

  • SK

Can people list which of these games are lowmium games (low sale price + freemium)? I would like to avoid those.

I hate it that Gameloft is adding in-game purchases to non-free games too! Asphalt 6 used to not have any in game purchases, but they added in game purchase to that too! I refuse to buy any freemium games (or play them if I already bought them without knowing) since you will eventually get stuck in way that will force you to buy in-game.

  • Falconator

    Woohoo!!! O&C...$.99!!!

  • Himmat S.

How I wish they'd enable PayPal. I don't have a credit card (and probably won't have one in the near future) so PayPal would really help!

  • Aki I.

mc3 is .99. just bought it about 5 mins ago

  • Fabulas

I just bought MC3 as well. Although I don't play FPS games, you never know at this price.

  • George Candelaria

I can't wait to try this game. I downloaded it yesterday. Hopefully it runs good on my Xoom.

  • Pham Thanh

it's great to be manual máy chiếu
