Update: The Tegra-3 optimized version just landed in the Android Market. If you're one of the lucky ones who has a Transformer Prime (or has one on the way), then get ready for some amazing graphics.

The very first quad-core Tegra 3 tablet will be launching soon, and with it comes the promise of a whole new class of Android games. We've already previewed a few such masterpieces; now, with the release of MADFINGER GAMES' Shadowgun, we can add another to the roster.

And what a stunning addition it is! As you can see, its graphics are nothing short of stunning, and the frame rate appears to be smooth as can be. For comparison, here's a gameplay video of the Tegra 2 version of the game:

This only makes the already-attractive Transformer Prime even more appealing - the thing's becoming harder and harder to resist every day.

Say what, it launched today? The link you posted said it's launching on the 19th.

whered all that water come from?

The gameplay looks just as smooth on the second video and the colors look a lot better on the second one. WTF?

Wow this is really lame. They really expect me to buy the game again when I get my Transformer Prime, just for a few tweaks. Nice money grab, wonder what the Tegra 4 version will add to get another $5 from your wallet. I'm all for paying for games, but I don't like paying again for a better version of the game.

typical nvidia bullshit. the very same useless visual "improvements" that you get from physix.

water where it doesnt belong, a huge useless chain hanging in the middle of a room... etc etc.

anyways, i can't get over how BAD the music is in this game :P
don't get me wrong, i actually liked it, but the music is just awful
