You know what you need? Another office suite on your phone or tablet. Or maybe just an office suite. Of course, you probably know that office suites aren't the cheapest apps on the Market, either - most range from $10 to $30, and if you missed OfficeSuite Pro or QuickOffice when they were free in the Amazon Appstore, then you're either stuck waiting for another freebie to come along or forced to shell out the coin to get pick one up.

There is a bright side, though: Smart Office Plus from PICSEL just went free on GetJar Gold. Smart Office is a full-featured office suite that allows you to create and edit MS Office docs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It offers both tablet and phone interfaces, so you're good to go no matter what device you're using.

Unlike the Amazon Appstore, which offers a premium app for free each day, once an app goes free on GetJar, it stays that way. So, if you've been looking for an on-the-go office suite that won't break the bank, it doesn't get much more affordable than Smart Office on GetJar. Hit the link below to grab your copy.

Cameron is a self-made geek with an affinity for all (okay... most) things tech. His love for Android has been noticed in some unlikely places - he once went to a concert and upon meeting the band, the singer said "You're like, Android king, right? Can you you tell me why this doesn't run flash?" and handed Cam his Optimus S.

...what? All I asked was is this app better than QuickOffice.

It is more or less like Quickoffice.

Kingsoft Office is also free & full in market:

    I still prefer OfficeSuite Pro.

Can't download the .apk and install yourself - you HAVE to give your phone details, which I am very reluctant to do as I bet I will get marketed at.

    Sorry. no deal
