screencast

Popular screen recording app, Screencast, has just received an update with some pretty sweet additions. Those of us who use this powerful app know how awesome it already is, but it just got better with a new time lapse recording feature. I'm sure some users have been waiting for this for some time now, and it sure is welcomed. It'll definitely add a whole new element to app and game demos. In addition, the speed of video processing has more than doubled with this update, and some minor bugs have been exterminated.

Check out these videos of digital speed paintings recorded with Screencast:

Looks pretty awesome, doesn't it?

Go grab the update, and if you don't have the app already, check it out below!

If you want to see how it runs, try the free version first.

does this make it ICS compatible?

I believe the two were already compatible, it just had some bugs when ran on ICS. This update does address those issues.

It really is a great app. I wish more devs used it to show off ROMs instead of seeing so many bad videos on youtube with the focus going in and out or reflections of cameras or faces.

This is one of my favorite recent Android apps - it's incredibly well done and truly unique to the Android Market. The dev is responsive, I reported the config corruption bug a few days ago, and it's fixed in this release.
