I own a Samsung Galaxy Note and I would like to write a few applications that can unleash the potential of the underlying hardware. I am a university graduate with a masters in computer science and so I think the combination of an introduction to Android development in conjunction with my prior experience could result in great things for the Android world. I used to focus on Symbian development back in the day because I was a loyal Nokia user and enthusiast - but given their recent slump I decided it is time for a switch into something new - and this book is the perfect opportunity to shine in a new field of development and programming.

    Thanks.
