If you're looking to get a NOOK Color this holiday season, and have an appreciation for hot discounts (who doesn't?), today's your lucky day. Barnes & Noble is now selling manufacturer refurbished units on eBay for just $129.99 with free shipping.

For those not familiar, the NOOK Color features a 7" VividView IPS display, an 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and of course, access to over 2.5 million titles in "the world's largest bookstore."

While the NOOK Color may have recently been overshadowed by B&N's NOOK Tablet, it's still being supported, and is a great solution for the money. To take advantage of the deal, just head over to B&N's eBay listing here.

Wow. If I hadn't committed to buying a Kindle Fire for my wife for Christmas, I'd definitely be tempted by this.

Does this come with the same refurbished 1 year warranty and support as a refurbished model purchased from B&N website?

thanks! I picked one up because I'm looking to install one in my '02 taurus as a car-pc. The torque app looks incredibly useful if I can set it up properly.

As far as saving when buying on eBay goes:

Use a site like Ebuyersedge.com to set up saved searches. You get an e-mail whenever a matching item is newly listed. Especially good for "Buy It Now"s that are priced right.

Try a misspelling search using a site like Typojoe.com to hopefully find some great deals with items that have main key words misspelled in the title. Other interested buyers might not ever see them.

If you see an auction that you want to bid on, use a sniping service such as Bidball.com to place your bid for you. It'll bid in the last few seconds, helping you to save money and avoid shill bidding.
