Day eight of the 10 Billion Apps promo is upon us, and today we have only 5 6 7 (thanks, Hugo, rampagedeluxe) new apps compared to 8-10 that we've been seeing until now. Looks like Google is really running out of options, but alas - here they are:

Here are all the days so far if you want to see them again:

      Thanks, added.

      Thanks for that one.

        And it's a repeat from day 1 (?)

        • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

Actually, the phone version was on sale, and now the HD version for tablets is.

  • E.Graul

We're starting to get a lot of the same apps over. Already got most of these! Come on Google!

Lucky Developers getting a repeat, another boost for those who missed the 24+ hour window and another boost in helping out the top paid apps listing.

Flight track is a repeat also.

Google's not running out of options...they could throw Tasker and Widget Locker up, at the least.

Tasker alone would be worth $0.10.

I meant that they're running out of options they've arranged.

I'd love for them to bring minecraft up again, my girlfriend doesn't have it and didn't know about the sale... I had already bought it when it launched, so it doesn't really matter to me (except that I guess I wasted some money?)

  • Andrew L.

Flight Track is a steal at that price. The rest I already own or have no interest in. Let's hope we get some more Productivity apps in the next couple of days.

Has anyone else noticed that they changed the spotlight to read "90% off" instead of "$0.10"?

This could be a very good thing if it means more premium apps will be on offer in the last two days at a drastic markdown (and not necessarily for $0.10). I'd love to snag Documents 2 Go or another Office-style app for $1.50-$2.00, for example.

    • Hiram Lester

Yes, I noticed that as well. It could be one of three things:
      1. They're sticking to the $0.99/$1.00 apps.
      2. They're going to put some premium apps in at reduced prices (as you suggest).
      3. They're trying to address multiple currencies with the same banner ad (10 cents in US, 10 pence in the UK, etc.).

Like you, I'm hoping for number 2. :)

  • falconator

Flight Tracker is an amazing program for hardcore travelers. aside from that... junk.

  • Tim

Thanks for the .10 stuff, but please,...enough games! Some utilities, or something useful would be a nice surprize for day ten! Just an idea.

  • Superevil

I've been pretty happy with the apps offered so far and I've probably purchased about 30 of them but as the end draws near there's still a few apps I'd like to see.

    Robo Defense
    NOTLD Defense
    TuneIn Radio Pro
    Tapatalk
    Astro

    • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

If you like Defense, I can tell you there will be a game that will make you happy in the next one :) Robo Defense is total crap compared to that one.

      • Chase

wait...you already know one of tomorrows apps is a better Robo Defense?

        • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

Not a better Robo Defense, it's another game. One of the top notch defense games, but you'll see which one ;-]
