It seems like Asus' Transformer Prime has been constantly making headlines since before it was announced. Giving those looking forward to the tablet/netbook hybrid another bit of news to drool over, the first hands-on video of the Prime has surfaced on YouTube.

It's worth noting that the tablet featured in this video is pre-production – it's running Android 3.2.1., and using hardware that may not be finalized for production or sale. That being said, it looks just as sleek, fast, and powerful as we expected, and did you notice the benchmark? It seems the Transformer Prime scores somewhere around 11,000 with AnTuTu Benchmark, light years ahead of even the Galaxy Nexus. This is, no doubt, thanks to the Prime's NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

It's very likely that we'll start seeing even more of the Transformer Prime as we approach its yet-unknown December launch date, and you can bet we'll be covering all the details as they roll out.

Transformer Prime's result is in AnTuTu's score chart for quite a long time.

Video is dead.... anyone with a mirror?

  • Laurence

I know the guy who uploaded the video. He works for Asus and they were upset about the device being shown off with pre-production software, that's why he had to take it down.

    Sorry about that."

Asus told him to remove the user until he updates the software to Android 4.0.1.

A miserable attempt to create some hype, like they tried to steal the 'Prime' from Galaxy.

Asus Transformer did not make it for Black Friday, and I will get a Galaxy Nexus Prime.

    • Ryuuie

Nexus Prime won't make it for Black Friday either. :P Try December 8th.
