Preparing to travel out of the country can be a daunting task. What if you forget something? Do you have all of the appropriate vaccines required to make the trip? What about all of the official documentation, passport, and insurance information? There's a lot to remember with a trip that massive.

Fortunately, you have your super-awesome Android phone by your side; install Trip Organizer, and it instantly becomes your travel assistant, ensuring you have everything needed for a smooth trip. The app features a packing list, a list of mandatory and recommended vaccines, medical kit info, and insurance information. All ready to go as soon as you install it.

It does all that before you ever leave the ground, but it's not finished there; quite the contrary, actually. Once you land in your destination, the app is ready to fill you on much-needed info, such as local events, phones numbers of police, medical, and fire departments; a phrasebook with support for ten different languages, currency convertor, and weather and time zone information.

Like I said, this app is the go-to assistant for all of your travel needs. There is a free version with limited features, but the full version is only $5 -- a small price for that kind of reassurance.

Something's really messed up about the portable version of this website's index page. The javascript seems to be preventing scrolling. Very annoying.

What browser/OS/phone? I've never had any problems on any phone I've tried.

Doesn't seem like it downloads too much data when you get to your destination, but International data rates are insanely expensive. Probably cheaper to do your homework before you leave.
