For Tablets

ZeroPC Cloud Navigator HD

Wow. I had no idea what ZeroPC was until I found this tablet app, and boy - it's like discovering a whole new OS that not only lives in the cloud but talks to, searches, and integrates with other cloud services - Dropbox, Google Docs, Evernote, Sugarsync, Instagram, etc.

It's free to use unless you want to get more storage or use advanced features, and if you think I was kidding when I called it an OS, take a look at what happens when you log in. Yup, this is what you see in your browser:

Mind blown yet? The tablet app allows you to see your cloud accounts, instantly search them, view and download files, and perform all kinds of cloud management all from one place (copying files between cloud services isn't supported yet in the tablet app - you'll have to use the web interface for that).

Check out the differences between the free and pay-as-you-go account:

Cocktail Flow Tablet

An absolutely gorgeous cocktail app, currently rated #2 on the Windows Phone Marketplaces, is now on Android. I've seen plenty of cocktail/alcohol/mixing apps on our favorite platform, but nothing ever came even close to Cocktail Flow. Have a look yourself.

Browse, find and discover cocktails with a continuously growing collection of drinks. The application features beautifully presented recipes and identifies cocktails that can be made from ingredients in your bar.

  • Jake

Wow. These are some pretty amazing apps I must say. The zeropc one is insane.

  • feisty_noodle

ZeroPC looks pretty but I cannot imagine it being pleasant in use.
Why on earth would you want to take a desktop paradigm and squeeze it into a touch interface of a tablet? This is why Windoze tablets were such a remarkable failure!

    • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

The tablet app doesn't use the desktop paradigm, as you can see from the screenshot. Only the web interface uses that.

      • feisty_noodle

Thanks, Artem, I am a little less confused now.

  • Steve

zeropc is pretty awsome!! Love the smart browsing and instant search feature.

Photoon sounds great. Why does it require internet permission though?

    • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

Not sure, perhaps it can download images or upload your creations to the web somewhere. Or perhaps these were left over from an ad-supported version.
