Rounding out their holiday offerings, T-Mobile announced today that Samsung's Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will become available (complete with 4G capability) beginning November 16th, bringing an even more portable version of the Galaxy Tab we've come to know and love to the hands of T-Mo subscribers.

The 7.0 Plus boasts many of the features of its older siblings, including a crazy-thin, lightweight form factor, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and more. Here's a more complete look at what you can expect from the latest addition to T-Mobile's growing tablet portfolio:

  • 0.77lb weight
  • 7" multitouch display
  • Android 3.2 Honeycomb with TouchWiz UX overlay
  • 16GB Internal storage
  • microSD card slot, expandable up to 32GB
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • HSPA+ 4G connectivity
  • 3MP rear shooter and 2MP front camera

Wondering how much this little slice of Honeycomb will cost you? T-Mobile says it will be available for $249.99 "with a T-Mobile Value Mobile Broadband plan [and] two-year service agreement," beginning November 16th. Not bad for a super-portable Honeycomb tablet bearing the Galaxy Tab name.

T-Mobile doesn't have very competitive tablet plan pricing. AT&T cheapest plan starts at $15 a month, and their overage free 2GB plan is only $25 a month, compared with $40 on T-Mobile.

T-Mobile 2GB value plan is actually $15 via promo for customers with an active voice line $35 for 5G with the same promo.

  • Slipgate

The 2 year plan brings the total cost of this tablet right back up to $489 spread out over two years. NO THANKS! Furthermore, that $249 price is after a $50 mail in rebate.
