Wind-Up Knight is a high-end 3D action game that will destroy you. That is the first sentence of the Market listing for the new game from development team Robot Invader. Pretty big words to live up to, don't you think? Whether it will actually destroy me or not will have to be seen, but, after watching the gameplay trailer, I can safely say that it looks awesome.

Impressive, no? It has more to offer than smooth side-scrolling graphics and a quirky-cute aesthetic appeal, too. According to the dev, it brings 50 soul-crushing levels (perhaps that's the method it uses to destroy you), along with crazy platforming action, four different worlds, power-ups, a "secret card" in every level, and an original soundtrack.

His love for Android has been noticed in some unlikely places - he once went to a concert and upon meeting the band, the singer said "You're like, Android king, right? Can you you tell me why this doesn't run flash?" and handed Cam his Optimus S.

I've been playing this for more hours than I care to say since last night...it's great! It looks fantastic on my Xoom (tablet). It's pretty smooth, too. I just wish the control buttons were a bit bigger.

Wind-Up Knight is nice, but for disabled peoples it offers no options, e.g. for adjusting game speed. It also doe not offer save points, e.g. if you fail at 95% in a level, then you always have to play the complete level again. Very annoying.
