Moto Xoom

The Motorola Xoom has its flaws and it may not be all that new, but it is still one of the best Android tablets available. Normally, this fine 10.1" Honeycomb device retails for about $499.99, but from today Amazon.com has it on sale for the low price of $353.50 with free shipping. This is a reduction of almost 30% of the original price and $50 less then the next lowest deal that we have come across.

Update: And just like that - it's gone. The price is now $452. Congratulations to everyone who managed to snag one.

Moto Xoom

Here's a quick rundown of the specs in case you had forgotten:

  • 10.1-inch (1280x800 at 150 ppi) display
  • 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 32GB internal memory
  • 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera
  • Android 3.2 Honeycomb

Interested in a Motorola Xoom? This is probably the best deal available right now.

Thanks for this! I've been waiting for the Xoom to fall to a respectable price.

Its even less than when I originally bought it with the $100 off Staples coupon. Might consider buying it again.

Sorry folks this article is false just went to Amazon myself and the price is nowhere near what this article is saying.

That's because they went /really/ fast. As I was refreshing the amazon page, it said 12 left, 10, 9, 6, etc. in a matter of seconds. I totally scored one. :)

We don't post false articles and even included a screenshot for this exact purpose (proof). Sold out is sold out, can't help that.

What are the flaws of the Xoom?

    • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

It's not as interesting as some other tablets (i.e. Transformer), it's thick and heavy. Those are the main reasons I wouldn't get one.

Ugh, the orders are being cancelled. I noticed my order wasn't listed on my orders page so I contacted Amazon, and they said it was cancelled because "the seller listed the item at the wrong price". Not cool. I'll be keeping my receipt as a reminder of one glorious moment of hope.

      Baaahhhhhhhhh, that sucks.
