If you've been hiding your tablet lust until something larger than a 7-incher, but smaller than the current crop of 10s hits the market, then you've probably been eyeballin' the Galaxy Tab 8.9 since Sammy first announced it back in March. It has been a long wait indeed, but the pre-order page on Best Buy's website is officially live, with the 32GB variant coming in at $569, and its smaller 16Gb counterpart at only $469.

Aside from the difference in storage, both of these little beasts pack an 8.9-inch 1280x800 display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and Android 3.2.

The expected ship date is between September 25 and 30, so you shouldn't have to wait much longer to have one in your hands.

Can you you tell me why this doesn't run flash?" and handed Cam his Optimus S.
