The Samsung Galaxy W is looking like a strong mid-range Android phone, packing a 1.4GHz processor, a 5MP rear shooter, 3.7" WVGA display and 4GB internal memory. Before its debut (slated for next month on Three network in the UK) Samsung has generously posted the device's source code.

For those who want to set to work on the W source code right away, grab the download here.

Samsung is always going to be great in my books. Their phones may feel plasticy, but I don't mind, and they love the dev community.

Yeah, they've been really stepping up lately. They arrived to Android late, but look at them lap everyone to #1!

Yeah, they better if they want to keep up with HTC's attempts to grow it's dev community... and hopefully Motorola soon :P

They flubbed the Vibrant hard, glad they see the err of their ways.... says a lot when you turn a screw up into a strength.
