As part of a back-to-school promotion, remote access software LogMeIn Ignition has received a temporary 50% cut off its normally $30 price tag, making it a very affordable $15. LogMeIn Ignition allows you to access your Mac or PC from anywhere using your smartphone or tablet and remote control it just as if you were sitting in front of it, quickly and easily providing access to all of your files and programs.

Another great use for LogMeIn is remote tech support -- we all have those family members who will call with an issue, and it's so much easier to do it yourself than to explain what needs to be done to someone who probably has little idea what you're talking about in the first place.

LogMeIn Ignition is available for Android 1.5+, and you can take advantage of the deal by hitting the widget below.

Still prefer TeamViewer over anything, but this is a pretty good deal

I'll admit it, I have a pirated copy of this on my phone. Since I use LogMeIn for work this is a steal and I've finally purchased it. My conscience is finally getting clear. :-/

Guessing this is US only, doesn't appear on UK market from link.

It's on the market here £8. 99 approx half price. Thanks for the heads up AP

Yah well I COULD do that.....or just stick with TeamView that is free. Yah Chuck I'm going to go with option #2

  • xnifex

That's still too damn high :(

I would have bought this, but it looks like the price is back up to $29.99, which is just way TOO much.
They shoot themselves in the foot with their high pricing. I've been using logmein on my desktops for nearly 7 years now. I would have gladly paid say $50-60 a year for all this time for logmein Pro. But their pricing is so high that instead I've just used the free version and they haven't made any money off me.
