Are you looking to get in on some of the 4G action that's going around nowadays? If you've been holding off in search of a cheaper deal, then you may want to take a look at this latest offer for the HTC Thunderbolt from Wirefly.

If you purchase the Thunderbolt with a new Verizon account, you can get a taste of the carrier's first 4G device for just $59.99 - almost half the price of the previous deal we saw a couple of weeks ago. Despite the fact that the Thunderbolt still runs Froyo, this is a great deal for those of you yet to buy in to 4G handsets.

For your money, you'll be getting a 4.3-inch, 4G capable phone with a 1GHz Qualcomm processor (single-core) and 768MB RAM. Unfortunately, you'll also have to add one of Verizon's Data Paks on to the deal, which start at $30 a month for 2GB, and go up to $50 and $80 per month for 5GB and 10GB respectively.

  • Really

Does this mean the rumor about the Thunderbolt being offered free by Verizon in an upcoming promotion is real? I'm going to wait the next 2 weeks for the Bionic though.

Didn't know it was still running 2.2 and doesn't this still have the random reboot issue that was "supposed" to be solved with the recent update.

    Still can't beat that price

Waste if an upgrade imo... maybe if it worked :/

They can't get the updates out to cure the problems the TB has and also give the thousands of current owners GB so now they are reducing the price to $60. What an insult to my injury when I paid 5 times that much on the release date. VZ and HTC need to get together and take care of the TB owners out there now so they will have happy customers.
