The Prize

Motorola XOOM owners, listen up. Rather than keeping my XOOM protected with the very rugged Defender case from Otterbox that I reviewed last month, I'm going to give it away to one of you, as you probably need it more than me.

Otterbox is one of the top brands in the case business, and I'm sure this $90 shell that can withstand a nuclear attack will find a nice home.

How To Enter

This contest is now over. We have selected the winner - see if it's you here.

To make this a little more interesting and fun, especially for those who don't like social giveaways (Twitter, Facebook, etc), to enter this contest:

  1. Take a photo of your XOOM and include some reference to Android Police anywhere in the same photo.
  2. Upload your photo to Imgur.com and post the direct link to it in the comments here. That is it.

The AP mention can be absolutely anything - text, scribbles, logo, screenshot, printout - really anything, as long as the Android Police reference can be recognized in the same picture.

What you do in the photo is entirely up to you - you can put yourself in it if you want or make it completely abstract, or take a photo of a painting of you taking a photo. What matters is making it interesting, fun, funny, sad, or creative in some way.

The contest will run until 11:59 p.m. Saturday, July 23rd 2011, which is a little over a week from now.

The winner will be chosen by the Android Police staff sometime after the contest end date. I'm going to clarify right away - unlike our giveaways, the winner here will not be chosen at random, but rather based on the merits of his or her work.

The contest is open to anyone in the world, but we will only ship to an address in United States, so please make sure you can provide one of those in case you win. We will take care of the shipping charges.

And finally, use your real email when you post your comment so that we can get in touch with you in case you win.

What are you still doing here? Grab your camera and your XOOM and show us what you're capable of!

How can i win the little androids in the pics next to the case? Those are what I want!

    • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

Haha, those are mine and you can't have them!

      • Adam

Well, where can I get them? They don't look big enough to be the dyzplastic ones.

        • http://www.AndroidPolice.com Artem Russakovskii

Well, they're legit - I got 2 from last year's Google I/O and 1 from the Lookout party at this year's. I don't follow the whole dyz/non-dyz/legit/"fake" thing, as I don't understand what makes dyz the true original, so I can't really comment further on where you can buy them.
