The amount of leaked information about the Droid Bionic that we're seeing is growing at a rapid pace now - even further proving that a release is drawing near. Today's find, courtesy of This is my next, is a leaked Best Buy teaser that touts the Bionic as an "all-powerful, unstoppable machine" - clearly displaying that Motorola is coming out of the gate with guns blazing to promote Verizon's first dual-core LTE phone.

While this flyer doesn't offer any information that we didn't already know, it does suggest that this phone should be hitting the streets sometime within the coming weeks, backing up the August 4th date that we saw earlier this week.

Uh, call me crazy but I don't think this is Verizon's first dual-core phone. First dual-core LTE phone, sure. But the droid X2 is dual core and the Droid 3, which is launching soon, is also dual core. So yeah. Might wanna correct that :)

Yeah, you're right. I pushed that out in a hurry and didn't throw "LTE" in there. Updated.

Lets see, 4.5 inch screen, 2.3.4 gingerbread, dual-core processor running 4g lte and a launch date despite blur, sounds promising.....what dual-core processor is it running? Just checking for that netflix hd

I think they switched it to the OMAP4. Netflix's partnership is with OMAP, but I can't remember if it's for the OMAP4.

ummm guys who cares. browsing 3g to 4g is almost unoticeable. dual core vs 2nd gen snap? ummm besides a couple of gamesyou will not notice difference.

And if this is as thick as the other 4g phones i will be laughing!!

Yeah, you think that all you want... General responsiveness and any CPU/GPU intensive apps will always be noticeably faster. Hitting an icon for an app and having it instantaneously show up rather than having to wait a few seconds.

  • Chris

haha yeah single core is the same as dual core. Keep telling yourself that lol. Look at the dual core phone reviews vs single core then say they act the same and you wont notice a difference lol

  • Chillz

Yea sorry buddy, even if you dismiss dual core as not making a difference lol, you'd have to be a dam fool to say lte is barely noticeable compared to the aging evdo rev a. I've heard people say it can be faster than broadband Internet.

You can bank on this being a FEROCIOUS FORCE DRAINING YOUR BATTERY. TOPS YOU WILL GET 3 TO 4 HRS LTE...Write that down I said it first here on androidpolice. I get 16hrs on my EVO 3D and I can leave my devices 4g on for 12hrs before my battery dies. Let's see LTE TOP THAT I DOUBT THEY CAN....EVO 3D PIMP SLAPS THE DROID BIONIC

  • chris

You mean your 3.5g come on dick got nothing new? Haven't glazed your phone like a donut enough times yet? And reviews say it feels like a fast single core not dual core. Bet that made you angry since the evo3d is god to you you sorry old man.
